Pinot Palooza

Another great way to spend the Labour Day long weekend - drinking Pinot Noir.

Alright.
This post might be a little outdated considering the Labour Day long weekend was some 3 weeks ago. But for those Pinot and wine lovers out there, this would be an excellent way to spend the (long) weekend in Sydney tasting/enjoying/learning/socialising with other Pinot/wine lovers/dealers.

Even a mediocre wine-enthusiast, like myself, with very minimal interest in Pinot Noir found this event rather enjoyable. Ticket was $60 (curtesy of Mr J).

Before reacting with “Woah! Steep” (my initial response too), this was the catch - on entrance, a free Riedel Pinot glass with a free James Halliday Wine Companion Magazine to take home AND the event offered free wine tasting for over 30 top Pinot Noir producers across Australia and New Zealand!

Not bad for the freebies and wine tasting variety , huh?

Coincidently, this event was held at one of my all-time favourite Sunday hideouts, Carriageworks. So photo-whoring became part of the day’s activities…

Till' next time!
